About me
Illustrator · Drawing teacher
PhD candidate in Art & Media, Sorbonne
I am a graphic designer and illustrator with 24 years of experience, specializing in drawing, caricature, and motion design. I regularly collaborate with newspapers and magazines, as well as cultural and humanitarian institutions.
With a Master's degree in Fine Arts from Panthéon-Sorbonne University and the University of Fine Arts in Tehran, I have worked with the Fondation de France and Cartooning for Peace alongside Plantu.
My career blends editorial illustration, graphic design, and artistic direction, with expertise in layout and visual storytelling.

Whether you've never held a pencil or you're already looking to refine a style of your own, each session starts from where you are — not from a fixed curriculum. My role: helping you progress with method, without judgement, at the pace that's right for you.
I teach drawing the way I've practised it: a living craft built on observation, patience, and a sharp eye. My classes include museum visits and landscape study — learning to see comes before learning to draw. You leave every session with concrete techniques, precise corrections, and plenty to work on between our meetings.

Never drawn before, or looking to rebuild solid foundations? This class is for you. We cover the fundamentals of drawing: observation, proportions, line, shadow and light. Children from age 9 are welcome! I teach with warmth, method and a sense of humour, always valuing personal expression.
Already drawing and ready to take things further? We work on composition, expression, perspective, and an introduction to colour — watercolour, acrylic or oil, depending on what you want to explore. The class adapts to your style and your personal goals.
Experienced and looking to refine your practice? We dive into caricature, narrative illustration, editorial composition, and developing a personal style. A tailored mentorship for artists who want to go further.

Classes are available online or in person, at your pace and around your schedule.
I attend your event — conference, seminar, workshop, wedding — and draw what unfolds in real time: the recurring words, the telling silences, the glances exchanged. By the end, you leave with a living record of the moment, a drawn memory that no one else could have made.
Two options to choose from: digital facilitation (tablet, crisp rendering, files delivered immediately) or traditional facilitation (markers, paint, large paper — a physical original to take home).

For cartoonists
"Did you know that your cartoon image looks much more like your real self than your portrait?"
"It is impossible not to have a personal view of life and then be able to be a good cartoonist."
"The most that a cartoonist does before creating a work is thinking... and thinking again."
"Before you can be a good cartoonist, you definitely have to be a good sketcher."
"When you have something to say, the technique itself calls to you — it will be very clear!"
